BARBECUED MEAT LOAF | |
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef 1 c. fresh bread crumbs 1 onion, finely chopped 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/4 c. water 3 tbsp. vinegar 3 tbsp. brown sugar 1 tsp. prepared mustard 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce Combine ground beef, crumbs, onion, 1 can tomato sauce, salt and pepper in a bowl. Mix well. Shape into loaf in shallow 7 x 11 inch baking dish. Mix remaining can tomato sauce with remaining ingredients in bowl. Mix well and pour over loaf. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/4 hours, basting occasionally. |
