TEXAS SHEET CAKE 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. Wesson oil
1 c. water
4 tbsp. cocoa
2 eggs
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. buttermilk

Mix flour and sugar in mixing bowl. Bring to a rapid boil butter, Wesson oil, water and cocoa. Pour over flour mixture and blend well. Stir in eggs, cinnamon, vanilla, baking soda and buttermilk and blend well. Pour batter onto cookie sheet ungreased with rim. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until done. Use Texas Sheet Cake Frosting.

This recipe is very easy, and turns out very well...the frosting to go with it is also easy and good. I made it for a church dinner, and it is excellent. Highly recommended. You can also substitute skim milk with a TBS of vinegar for the buttermilk for a lighter version, and I also used skim milk for the frosting and both worked well.
