FRUIT LIME LOAF 
1 pkg. lime gelatin
2 c. boiling water
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
2 c. cold water
1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges, drained
1 (8 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Beat cream cheese until light and fluffy; gradually beat in gelatin until well blended. Stir in cold water. Chill until slightly thickened. Fold in fruit. Chill until firm in 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan.

A popular Polish tradition at Christmas is celebrating the "Wigilia" - Christmas Eve Supper. In the past, there were twelve main dishes. Today this tradition is replaced by serving the Twelve-Fruit Compote.
