KRISTEN'S FAVORITE LEMON TEA
BREAD
 
1/2 c. milk
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. melted butter
1 1/2 tsp. grated lemon
1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. double acting baking powder
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Lemon juice

Combine milk, eggs, sugar, butter and lemon peel. Beat at medium speed until blended. Add dry ingredients, then mix at low speed until smooth. Fold in pecans. Pour in greased loaf pan. Bake 45-50 minutes at 350 degrees.

GLAZE FOR BREAD:

3 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 c. sugar

Combine these for glaze. Pour glaze on bread while hot.
