CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM DESSERT 
1/3 c. butter
2 c. powdered sugar
3 eggs, separated
2 sq. semi-sweet chocolate
Or can sub. with 7 tbsp. cocoa & 1 tbsp. butter

Melt chocolate and butter together. Add powdered sugar and beaten egg yolks. Stir very well. Fold in beaten egg whites.

Line a 9 x 13 inch pan with crushed ice cream wafers on bottom and pour chocolate mixture over evenly. Freeze for a short time. Cover cookie chocolate mixture with 1/2 gallon softened vanilla ice cream. Top with rest of crushed ice cream wafers. Freeze (covered).

Note: 1 package of ice cream wafers (chocolate-strawberry-vanilla) will do this recipe, figure about 1/2 for bottom and 1/2 for top.
