ONION BREAD 
1/2 c. chopped onion
3 tbsp. butter, melted
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. Bisquick
1 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
2 tbsp. poppy or sesame seeds

Saute onion in 1 tablespoon butter. Beat egg. Mix with milk; blend in Bisquick. Add onion and half of cheese. Spread into well greased baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Drizzle 2 tablespoons butter on top. Sprinkle with seeds. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
