SPINACH STUFFED SHELLS | |
1 (12 oz.) pkg. jumbo macaroni shells 2 (9 oz.) pkg. frozen creamed spinach in cook-in pouch 1 (15 oz.) container ricotta cheese 1 (8 oz.) pkg. mozzarella cheese, shredded 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/2 lb. ground beef, optional 1 (32 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce (or like amount of homemade) Prepare shells according to package and drain well. Prepare creamed spinach according to package. Put spinach in large bowl with ricotta, mozzarella, salt and pepper. Stuff each shell with 1-2 tablespoons of mixture. If desired, brown meat and add to tomato sauce. Spoon sauce over shells (in casserole). Cover with foil. Heat in 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes or until bubbly. Casserole can be frozen. Serves 4. |
