SHRIMP OR CHICKEN SCAMPI 
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 stick butter, melted
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. ground black pepper
1 tsp. fresh chopped parsley
1 (2 oz.) dry vermouth
1 1/2 lb. boneless chicken or cooked & peeled shrimp, slashed lengthwise

Put first 6 ingredients in a fry pan and cook until butter melts and other ingredients saute slightly. Add chicken or shrimp. Keep turning. Shrimp takes 5 minutes and chicken takes 20 minutes. Serve with flavored rice and asparagus.
