SUMMER TOMATO SOUP 
12 lg. tomatoes, homegrown & ripe
6 green onions, chopped
1 tbsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. marjoram
1/2 tsp. thyme
Garlic powder (opt.)
2 tbsp. lime juice
2 tsp. lime peel, grated
1 1/2 c. sour cream
1 tsp. curry powder
Minced parsley

Blend peeled tomatoes, onions, seasonings, lime juice and grated lime peel in equal proportions in 2 batches in a blender. Add salt, sugar, marjoram and lime. Blend until mixture is a puree. Pour tomato mixture into a large bowl. Fold in sour cream and curry powder with a wire whisk. Chill in refrigerator until soup is very cold. Garnish with minced parsley. Carries well in a thermos for a picnic. Serves 12.
