SUPER EASY SWEET PICKLES 
Pack clean washed cucumbers in sterilized quart jars.

INTO EACH QUART PLACE:

1 tbsp. salt
1 c. cider vinegar
1/2 tbsp. mixed pickling spices
1/2 tsp. powdered alum

Fill with cold water. Shake to mix and let stand at least 3 weeks. A couple of days before using, open the jars, wash cucumbers, then slice, quarter or chunk. Put them back into the rinsed out jar and add 1 cup sugar and fill with water.
