QUICK EASY WINE CAKE 
1 pkg. French vanilla or white cake mix
1 sm. pkg. instant vanilla pudding
4 eggs
3/4 c. oil
3/4 c. California wine (sherry)
1 tsp. nutmeg

Combine all ingredients. Mix with electric beater about 5 minutes. Pour batter into greased 9"x13" pan. Bake in moderate oven, 350 degrees, about 35 to 40 minutes or until done.

Cool cake in pan until lukewarm. Gently poke holes all over top surface with fork and spoon Orange Topping over the cake.

ORANGE TOPPING:

2/3 c. California sherry
2/3 c. orange juice
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. grated orange rind

Combine all ingredients in small saucepan; bring to boil and lower heat. Simmer about 10 minutes; pour over cake while topping is still hot.
