ITALIAN MACARONI | |
2 c. lg. elbow macaroni, cooked and drained 1/2 lb. cheddar cheese 1 c. thinly sliced onions 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. Kraft mayonnaise 1 c. sour cream 3 hard boiled eggs 2 tbsp. mayonnaise Salt and pepper to one's own taste Alternate layers of cooked macaroni, onion and cheese. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Combine mayonnaise and sour cream. Pour over casserole. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Use a 9x9-inch casserole. Cut eggs in half and remove yolks. Combine yolks with the 2 tablespoons mayonnaise, salt and pepper. Refill egg whites with mixture and arrange on casserole. Bake another 10 minutes uncovered. You can make this without the eggs. |
