PASTA WITH VODKA | |
1 lb. tubular pasta 1/4 tsp. hot red pepper flakes 3/4 c. heavy cream 3/4 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese 5 tbsp. butter 1 (16 oz.) can Italian style plum tomatoes, pureed 1/2 tsp. salt 2/3 c. vodka Cook pasta 8 to 10 minutes. Melt butter over medium heat. Add vodka and hot pepper. Simmer 2 minutes; add tomatoes and cream. Simmer 5 minutes. Drain pasta and pour in skillet with sauce. Reduce heat to low and add cheese. Mix well. |
