This is an excellent Recipe! I used a Sockeye Salmon filet from Alaska and did have to do the extra 10 minutes at 400 degress to get desired flaking, but it was great. I also added a squirt of lime juice (didn't have lemon juice) after cooking.

Salmon is great on the grill too. Use indirect heat. I put mine on a piece of foil. It doesn't take long to cook either. 155°F or flaky.

I made this and sliced some yukon gold potatoes up and added mayo and seasonings just like the fish and a just a little olive oil. The potatoes were great!! I cooked them for 45 minutes at 375°F so I just stuck them in the oven a little before the fish. Yummo

Added some Cajun seasoning to one half of the salmon. And had my family taste some of both. The side with Cajun seasoning added won.

Wow!!! Wow!!!! Wow!!! I surprised my husband with a candle light dinner and made this recipe! I would have never ever put mayo on the fish, but I read one of your reviews that said it worked out so I did it. This is the best salmon I have put in my mouth!!! Much better then Chili's or Logans! My husband LOVED IT!!! Thank you for this recipe! It was a huge hit!

This was my first time cooking salmon by myself and it was delicious! I used a cajun seasonings mix and it was amazing. I will try it on some chicken next!

Living on the West Coast of british Columbia, we eat Sockey Salmon (the Rolls Royce of all salmon). I just brush it with olive oil, add a layer of mayonnaise, salt, peper, and bake until flaking. Chum, or pink should be avoided, spend the extra $ for a great dinner. A fat little Coho is wonderful also. Big Spring (King to USA cooks) is always a bit strong. Try Sockeye, it's candy.

After living on a sailship for a few years, I've learnt one thing. Mayo is Fish's unspun Best-friend.

Depending on the Mayo be it regular, low-fat home made, or spicy, the oil found in the mayo adds a nice mellow taste to most fresh, sea, and even farm raised fish. It also helps keep the meat from drying out while baking, which can lead to dry very unappetizing meals.

I've found it works great on Salmon, Barracuda, Tilapia, and where found fresh Tuna.

For a interesting flavor try Cream cheese and Mint, mixed and spread thin over washed and dried fllets or as a stuffing for fish stakes.

This receipe is a favorite in my family. I mix low fat mayo with crushed red pepper and Parmesan cheese. I splash lemon juice on the fish then spread the mixture on the fish and top with crushed ritz crackers and bake. Very good.

I have fixed this recipe several times and LOVE it! On the thicker cuts of salmon I season the top and the bottom of the fillet for extra flavor. You will LOVE this!
