CARROT - POTATO CASSEROLE 
2 c. potatoes, cut in strips (2 1/2 x 1/2")
1 med. onion, peeled & sliced
1 (6 1/2 oz.) can chopped clams
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. dill seed or weed
1 c. butter (4 oz.)
1 c. carrots, cut in strips

Lightly grease a 2 quart baking casserole dish. Put in potato strips next add the carrot strips, next the clams with juice and last the onion.

Melt butter with seasonings. Pour over the casserole. Bake at 350 degrees, covered for 45 minutes. Remove cover and sprinkle with a little paprika and fresh parsley if desired. Serves 4-5.
