MOLASSES SPICE CRISPS 
2 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. ginger
2 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg, unbeaten
4 tbsp. molasses
Sugar on top

Combine flour, soda and spices. Cream butter. Add sugar beat. Add molasses. Add dry ingredients gradually. Chill. Roll into small balls. Dip into sugar. Place on ungreased baking sheets. Bake 15-20 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
