MOSTACCIOLI CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1 1/2 tsp. oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
6 oz. can tomato sauce
1/2 (16 oz.) box Mostaccioli noodles
1/2 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic
1 1/2 tsp. basil
15 oz. can stewed tomatoes
Few slices of Monterey Jack cheese

Can substitute Mozzarella cheese.

Cook noodles about halfway. Brown ground beef with onion, green pepper, garlic and spices. Add tomatoes and tomato sauce and heat. Mix partially cooked noodles and ground beef mixture in casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top and bake for another 10 to 15 minutes.
