MEAT 'N TATER PIE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. milk
1/2 env. (3 tbsp.) dry onion soup mix
Dash pepper
Dash allspice, optional
1 (12 oz.) pkg. loose pack frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
2 pie crust (can be frozen or pie crust sticks)

Line 9-inch pie plate with one pie crust. Combine meat, milk, soup mix, pepper and allspice (if desired); mix gently. Lightly pat into pastry-lined pie plate; top with potatoes.

Place top pie crust over potatoes; seal edges. Cut design in top pastry (make slits with knife or fork). Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until browned. Serve with warmed ketchup, if desired. Makes 6-8 servings.
