PEPPER STEAK 
1 lb. cubed beef (1 inch sq.) (Beef can be family steak or chuck)
1/2 c. flour
1/2 clove garlic
2 fresh tomatoes
3 fresh peppers
1/2 stalk celery
1 c. rice
2 beef bouillon cubes
1/2 c. oil
3 tsp. butter
2 med. onions
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 med. carrot
2 c. water

Cut 1 pound of steak or chuck into 1 inch squares. Rinse meat under water and dredge in flour. Heat oil in deep skillet and brown meat. Add 2 cups of water (completely cover meat). Add chopped onion, celery and carrot. Add butter, pepper, garlic, salt and allspice. Add bouillon cubes. Quarter tomatoes and green pepper and add. Simmer on low heat for 2 hours. Serve over steamed rice.
