ALMOND ROCA 
1 lb. real butter (best grade)
2 c. sugar
1 c. slivered almonds
1/2 c. fine ground walnuts
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Combine sugar, butter, and almonds together over medium heat until mixture turns light brown. Pour mixture onto a buttered cookie sheet. Spread on chocolate chips, then sprinkle on ground walnuts. Cool about 3 hours, break into small pieces and store in refrigerator. DO NOT DOUBLE.
