MARINA'S HEALTHY PANCAKES | |
1 cup whole wheat pancake mix 1 cup milk 1/2 cup uncooked oatmeal (not instant) 1/4 cup wheat germ 1/2 cup applesauce 1 egg Optional: For extra vitamins and taste, add into batter: nuts, 1 smashed banana, 1/4 cup pumpkin, sliced strawberries or whole blueberries. Beat egg well. Mix the remaining ingredients together. Spray skillet with Pam spray. Turn heat to medium. Pour 1/2 ladleful of mix into pan. When pancake forms bubbles around edges, flip to bake other side. Enjoy a healthy and nutritious breakfast. I make these for my children and they love it.
