CRUNCHY SEASONED TOPPING 
1 c. Quaker Oats (quick or old fashioned), uncooked
3 tbsp. butter, melted
1 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp. lemon pepper
1 tsp. minced parsley

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients, except parsley; mix well. Spread onto ungreased 13 x 9 inch baking pan. Bake 14 to 17 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool completely. Stir in parsley. Sprinkle on salads, soups, steamed or cooked vegetables, and casseroles. Store, tightly covered, in refrigerator. 10 servings.

Variation: Substitute 1/8 teaspoon pepper for lemon pepper.

Microwave Oven Directions: In a 1 quart microwaveable bowl, combine all ingredients, except parsley; mix well. Microwave at high 2 1/2 minutes, stirring after 1 minute. Cool completely. Stir in parsley. Proceed as recipe directs above.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
