2 tbsp. light corn syrup
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch or clear jell
1 c. water
Pinch of salt
3 tbsp. strawberry Jello
1 qt. fresh berries
Red food coloring

Mix corn syrup, sugar, cornstarch, water and salt. Bring to boil. Cook until thick. Dissolve 3 tablespoons Jello and food coloring in mixture. When cool, add berries. Pour into a baked pie crust. Serve with whipped cream.
