2 c. sugar
1 c. corn syrup
1/2 c. water
1-1/2 tsp. favorite flavoring
1/2 tsp. food coloring

Bring it to hard ball stage. Drop onto toothpicks or popsicle sticks, laid on a lightly buttered cookie sheet.
