SCALLOPED VEGETABLES 
1 c. grated cabbage
1 carrot, chopped
1 stem of celery
1/2 onion
Any other vegetables

In saucepan, cook vegetables until done. Drain and put in casserole dish.

WHITE SAUCE:

1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1/4 c. grated cheese

In saucepan, cook all ingredients for white sauce. When sauce is thick, add the grated cheese.

Add white sauce to vegetables and mix. Cover with cracker meal and dot with butter. Bake 15-30 minutes at 375 degrees.
