DELICIOUS APPLE PIE 
1 (9-inch) pie shell
2 or 3 med. apples (cooking kind), peel and slice real thin

TOPPING:

1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed firmly
1/3 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. chopped nuts (pecans)
1/2 c. coconut

Peel and slice thin apples into unbaked pie shell.

Mix topping and spread over sliced apples, covering all apples well. Bake at 350 degrees until topping is golden brown. Good to eat hot or cold.
