AUNT MILDRED'S YUMMY YAM SALAD 
Cook 3 pounds sweet potatoes until tender; mash.

Add: 1/4 c. brown sugar 1 tbsp. lemon juice 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 c. sugar 1/4 c. pineapple juice 1/4 tsp. allspice

In a glass bowl put a layer of cooled yams in bottom, a layer of Cool Whip. Alternate until bowl is full. Cool Whip last. Add walnuts to top layer. Refrigerate. Make a day or two ahead.
