EASY STUFFED PORK CHOPS
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
1 sm. apple, peeled, cored, and chopped (1/2 c.)
2 tbsp. raisins
2 tbsp. finely chopped onion
1/8 tsp. dried sage, crushed
2 tbsp. apple cider
8 pork loin chops, cut 1/2 inch thick
1/2 of a 1 oz. env. (4 tsp.) brown gravy mix

In a 4-cup glass measure melt the butter in a microwave oven on high for 45-60 seconds. Add the bread crumbs, apple, raisins, onion, sage, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Toss to mix. Add 1 tablespoon cider to moisten. Arrange 4 chops in 12 x 7 1/2 x 2 inch baking dish. Spoon the apple mixture over each chop. Place the remaining chops atop stuffing. Combine gravy mix with the remaining cider; brush over chops. Micro-cook, covered, on medium high 14-18 minutes or until chops are tender. To serve, transfer chops to a platter. Serves 4.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
