ICE BOX FRUIT CAKE 
1 c. butter, melted
1 lb. marshmallows
1 lb. vanilla wafers, crushed
1 lb. raisins
1/2 lb. chopped dates
1 (14 oz.) pkg. coconut
1/2 lb. candied cherries
1/2 lb. pineapple chunks
1 qt. pecans, chopped
1 c. Eagle Brand milk

Melt marshmallows, butter and milk, pour over chopped fruit, nuts, vanilla wafers and coconut, mix by hand in large container. Pack tightly in small aluminum containers or place in one 13x9 inch pan and cut into 6 or 8 pieces, wrap tightly in plastic wrap. Store in refrigerator.
