APPLESAUCE RING 
1/2 c. soft butter
1 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. dark raisins
1/2 c. golden raisins
1/2 c. chopped nutmeats
3/4 c. sweetened canned applesauce
1 c. quick or old fashioned oatmeal, uncooked

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well. Sift dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour into well-greased and floured ring mold. Bake in preheated oven (350 degrees) for 45 to 55 minutes. Cool 10 minutes, remove from pan. After cool, may be frosted with thin confectioners' sugar frosting.
