LAYERED SALAD 
1/2 head iceberg lettuce, shredded
3 green onions, chopped, green stems only
1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
1 red pepper, sliced
1 can water chestnuts, sliced (can use cucumber instead)
1 sm. pkg. frozen peas
1 jar Marie's Ranch or Blue Cheese Dressing
1 sm. pkg. Mozzarella cheese, grated
1/2 lb. bacon, crisply cooked & crumbled
2 hard boiled eggs, sliced
2 tomatoes, quartered

Layer salad in listed order. Do not defrost peas as it adds a nice texture to the salad. The bacon, eggs, and tomatoes are to be placed in a decorative fashion on top of the salad. Do not toss the salad. It looks pretty in a glass bowl. The salad can be prepared a day in advance. Serves 6.
