MISS NANNIE'S COOKIES 
2 sticks of butter
7 tbsp. of brown sugar
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix all ingredients thoroughly (this may be done in food processor).

Roll mixture in 2 rolls about 2 inches in diameter. Wrap and put in the refrigerator. Leave until cold. Then slice into about 1/4 inch slices. Put on ungresaed cookie sheet and bake at 325 degrees for about 10 minutes. Be sure not to overbake. Remove and let cool on rack.
