RICE PILAF 
1/4 lb. salt free butter
1/3 c. very fine noodles
1 c. long grain rice (not minute)
2 1/4 c. hot beef or chicken broth

Melt butter over medium heat. Add noodles and brown. Wash rice (rinse with cold water, drain). Add to browned noodles. Remove from heat and add hot beef or chicken broth. Return to burner on low heat, cook until water is absorbed and rice and noodles are soft. Turn heat off and let rest for 10 to 15 minutes. Serve hot.
