CHOCOLATE PUDDING CAKE 
Cake:

3/4 c. granulated sugar
1 c. sifted all-purpose flour (I use self-rising)
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
3 tbsp. melted butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Topping:

1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1 1/2 c. warm water

In a 9-inch baking pan, mix sugar, flour, salt, baking powder and cocoa. Stir in milk, melted butter and vanilla. Spread batter in bottom of pan. Mix topping of sugars, cocoa and water; sprinkle over batter. Pour over cake mixture and bake at 350°F for 30 to 45 minutes.
