BEST CHOCOLATE BROWNIES 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 sticks butter
1 c. water
3 tbsp. cocoa
2 beaten eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla

FROSTING:

1 1/2 c. sugar
6 tbsp. butter
6 tbsp. milk
1/2 c. chocolate chips

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a big cake pan or a large deep cookie sheet. Mix together the flour, sugar and salt in a bowl and set aside. Bring to a boil the butter, water and cocoa. Combine the 2 mixtures in the bowl, add eggs, baking soda, buttermilk and vanilla. Pour into pan. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

FROSTING: Boil sugar, butter and milk for 1 minute. Add chocolate chips and stir until they dissolve. Nuts may be added if desired. After brownies have cooled, pour warm frosting and spread it around.
