LETTUCE SALAD 
Layer 1 head lettuce (torn) in airtight bowl
1 c. celery, chopped
1 c. pepper, chopped
1 c. white onions, chopped
1 pkg. English peas, frozen
1 can water chestnuts
Salt to taste

Sprinkle 1/4 cup sugar over all.

TOP WITH:

2/3 pt. mayonnaise
1/3 c. sour cream

Pour over lettuce. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Seal airtight. Refrigerate 24 hours.
