OATMEAL CARMELITAS 
1 c. flour
1 c. quick rolled oats
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. butter (melted)
1 c. (6 oz. pkg.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped nuts
3/4 c. caramel ice cream topping
3 tbsp. flour

Grease bottom and sides of 9-inch square pan. Combine in large bowl to form crumbs: flour, oats, brown sugar, baking soda, salt and butter. Press 1/2 of crumbs in bottom of pan and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Sprinkle baked crust with chocolate chips and nuts.

Mix ice cream topping and flour and drizzle over chocolate chips and nuts. Sprinkle remaining crumbs on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 15- 20 minutes until golden.
