OATMEAL CARMELITAS | |
1 1/2 c. flour 1 1/2 c. quick oats 1 1/8 c. brown sugar 3/4 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/8 c. melted butter 1 1/2 c. chocolate chips 3/4 c. chopped pecans 1 1/2 jars caramel topping 4 1/2 tsp. flour Combine first 6 ingredients. Press half of this crumb mixture into a 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and pecans. Spread with caramel mixture made by mixing caramel topping and 4 1/2 teaspoons flour together. Sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture. Bake 20 minutes longer. Chill. Cut into bars. Store in freezer. |
