OLD FASHION FRESH APPLE CAKE 
1 c. oil
2 eggs
2 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. flour
1 c. pecans or black walnuts
3 c. sour cooking apples
1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch chips
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda

Mix with mixer - mix well - oil, eggs, sugar. In another bowl, sift flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and baking powder. Add to mixture. Stir in nuts and apples. Spread in greased 13x9 inch pan. Put chips on top of cake. Bake at 350 degrees for 55-60 minutes. Cool, cut and serve (better served the next day).
