MARY'S BREAD PUDDING WITH RUM
SAUCE
 
6 slices day old bread
2 tbsp. + 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
4 eggs
2 c. milk
2 tbsp. melted butter
1/2 c. seedless raisins
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Lightly butter bread and toast. Cut into cubes. Mix other ingredients and add bread to it. Bake immediately. Bake about 30 minutes at 350 degrees or until set. Serve with Rum Sauce. Serves 8.

RUM SAUCE:

2 c. milk
1/2 stick butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. nutmeg
1 tbsp. vanilla
Rum to taste
5 tbsp. oil
2 tbsp. flour
