CORN CHOWDER 
5 pieces bacon
3 pieces celery
1 onion, diced
5 potatoes
1 can creamed corn
1 can evaporated milk
Salt & pepper to taste
Parsley flakes, optional

Saute together bacon, celery and onion. Add potatoes, peeled and chopped and enough water to cover. Cook covered until potatoes are soft. Use a masher and press together (leave a few chunks). Add 1 can cream corn and 1 can evaporated milk. If a thinner chowder is desired, add more regular milk. Salt and pepper to taste. Serves 4.
