NO - COOK MINT PATTIES 
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/4 c. butter, softened
1 tsp. peppermint extract
1/2 tsp. salt
1 lb. sifted powdered sugar (4 3/4 c.)
Red and green or any other food coloring

Blend corn syrup, butter, extract, and salt. Add sugar; mix with spoon and hands until smooth. Divide into thirds. Knead 1 drop red food coloring into 1/3 and 1 drop green food coloring into another 1/3; leave remaining 1/3 white. Shape into small balls. Flatten with fork on waxed paper lined baking sheets. Let dry several hours. Makes 72 patties.
