1 batch Nestle's Toll House cookies, made extra lg. & thick
1 pt. ice cream of your choice
3 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Make cookies according to packages directions and let cool. Soften ice cream slightly in refrigerator. Turn 8 cookies over and gently spread 1/4 cup ice cream atop each. Top with 8 cookies. Freeze until firm.

Melt semi-sweet chocolate chips in top of double boiler. Dip fork in chocolate and drizzle on top of sandwiches. Freeze until chocolate is firm. Soften slightly before serving.
