DELICATE LACE COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1 3/4 c. rolled oats
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. milk
1 c. chopped nuts

Cream butter and sugar thoroughly. Add oats slowly, then other ingredients in order. Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet. Bake in 325 degree oven 8 to 10 minutes. Cool slightly on sheet before removing to rack.
