BONNIE'S CARAMEL BARS 
14 oz. Kraft caramels
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
3/4 c. butter, melted
1 c. nuts, chopped
6 oz. chocolate chips

Combine cake mix, butter, nuts and 1/3 cup of the evaporated milk; mix well. Press 1/2 of mixture into a greased and floured 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Bake 6 minutes at 350 degrees; cool. Melt caramels with remaining evaporated milk. Pour chocolate chips on cake, and then pour caramel mixture over chips. Press remaining dough on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 18 minutes. Cool and serve!
