1/4 c. rice 1 c. milk 1/2 c. cream or half and half Salt Sifted flour (enough to thicken) Cover rice with cold water, salt and cook until rice is tender and water is absorbed. Put milk and cream in saucepan and bring to boil. Add rice, salt and begin to add sifted flour and beat with wire whisk all the time you are adding flour. When thick, put in bowls and top with butter and cinnamon and sugar. Serves 2. |
