CHINESE PEPPER STEAK 
1 lb. round steak, cut into thin strips
2 tbsp. oil
1/2 c. chopped onions
1 1/2 c. celery, cut diagonally in 1" pieces
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. sugar
2 beef bouillon or water
4 green peppers, cut lengthwise in 8ths
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. soya sauce
1/4 c. water
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 cloves garlic, crushed

Brown meat in hot oil. Add vegetables and seasonings and bouillon. Simmer covered, 40 minutes or until meat is tender. Mix cornstarch with soya sauce and water. Mix into hot mixture, bring to boil and cook stirring constantly until thickened. Serve over rice or noodles.
