BOILED CUSTARD 
1/2 gal. sweet milk
6 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
2 tsp. vanilla

Beat eggs and add sugar and flour. Then add milk. Cook over pan of water to keep from sticking. Stir frequently while cooking until thickness desired. Then remove from heat and add vanilla. Chill.
