MY MOTHER'S BOILED CUSTARD | |
2 1/2 c. sugar 1 dozen eggs 1/2 c. flour 1 gallon milk 1 tbsp. vanilla Put milk in double boiler. Heat to 150 degrees. Beat eggs until fluffy. Add slowly to hot milk, stirring constantly. Add flour and sugar mixture slowly, stirring constantly. Cook until mixture coats spoon. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Recipe may be divided. |
