PRALINE BARS 
1 c. butter
2 c. dark brown sugar
2 eggs
2 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans
36 pecan halves
Powdered sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Cream butter and brown sugar together. Beat eggs, one at a time, into creamed mixture. Mix flour thoroughly into creamed mixture. Stir in vanilla and chopped pecans into batter. Pour into prepared pan. Place pecan halves on top of batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool in pan. Dust with powdered sugar. Cut into bars. Remove from pan and serve. Makes 36, 1 1/2 x 2-inch bars.
